wow, a pretty specific question, I know. Wife and I spent 3 months last year in Berlin and although we lived on the Ku'Dam, our favorite pasttime were the bars and cafes on the old East side (Specifically in Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg areas) We're heading to Budapest for another 3 months pretty soon and want to know which Districts and even more specifically, which areas/streets/neighborhoods in those districts offer similar features as those above 2 areas in Berlin. I think we'd rather live in those areas instead of each time having to travel to them so if people could tell me the Budapest districts (seems like V, VI, and VII maybe) to look into further, it would be appreciated.

thanks treplow, I was able to post the question on a number of countries, where I thought I might find somebody who might be familiar with Berlin as well as Budapest. robj
