Travellyn:
That really depends on what you expect. The rooms are small like everywhere else. The beds are marginal, the baths are newish but really small. You can sit on the toliet and brush your teeth small. The carpet is worn but the lobby area is bright and comfort and there is a breakfast area which I enjoy. But I enjoyed the breakfast where my wife doesn't. I rate it 6 out of 10. Clean and the staff was helpful. Would I stay there again. Sure why not it's $60.00 and that means we have more money to shop.

We were pleased with the Leveque. Our room was small but nor cramped. The bathroom was small but modern, with shower stall with door. Our bed was good had no complaints at all. One thing I did like was in the in room safe, really not usually seen in this price range. We also liked the breakfast room and thought the price for breakfast was fair. The rue Cler area is nice as well. I have stayed in hotels in Paris in several different areas (Marais, Opera, Fauborg, etc) and overall I think I like the 7th best.

Just remember this is not a 4* hotel but it is a very decent 2*.

Thanks, all for your replies. I think we should be fine with this, from all I've read. There are 2 of us, but booked into a triple room on the 5th floor, overlooking Rue Cler. (My cousin is famous for her shoppig sprees, & I wanted to have plenty of room for all her finds!)
Gratefully,
BC
