Venice: your help again
Coming to Venice in 3 days we need your help again.
Staying close to San Marco we choosed to take Alilaguna. But we need to know where's the landing stage close to the airport and how & how long to get there from the airport? By the way, which is the difference between Alilaguna BLU and RED line?
Are there any special Christmas events (markets, X.mas cribs) from 1st December?
We would like to visit San Michele cemetery but we're concerned as which vaporetto to take to get there (and return !) and how long it takes?
Does anyone knows where right now in Venice we can find a canal drained for cleaning or maintenace?
Thanks.

As you exit luggage, you can buy
the 10 Euro Blue Line Alilaguna
boat ticket. Right in front of the
main exit is a shuttle that will transport you to the boat dock.
10 minute ride to dock; ride is 1 hr
15 minutes & they leave twice an hour during the day; once an hr. in the evening.
Ask re San Michele cemetery when you purchase your tickets. It may be
prudent to buy a 1- or 3-day pass.

For complete schedule of Alilaguna:
http://www.alilaguna.it/?funzione=12...0&fascia=4
The BLU goes to San Zaccaria and San Marco. Leaveing airport dock every hour at :40.
The RED goes to Arsenale and San Marco.
Leaving airport dock every hour at :10, except for few early morning departures at :15.
The last BLU is at 17:40, after that, RED is the only Alilaguna to San Marco.
There is a new ORO line starting 9/15/2005 direct to San Marco, but last one is at 15:25 and costs more at €25.
For San Michele, take ACTV vaporetto:

Look for waterbuses/timetable enter CIMITERO
