Venice to Paris fly

Hi,
I read on the boards to check myair.com. I went to this site and it is quoting 19.99 EUR per person to fly from Venice to Paris. can this be right? Has anyone flown this airline?

Thanks!

These cheap flights are true BUT...

- they sometimes fly to "just outside" big cities and it could be 30-60 miles outside
- You sometimes pay for checked bags or more than a certain weight (which is lower than regular airlines)
- You have to check in early

Just read the fine print and be aware of the conditions.

With taxes and fees of E45.89, the total cost of your ticket will be E65.88.

Another downside is the times flying out of Venice and into Paris.

Hi K,

There are many very cheap airlines in Europe. MyAir is one of them.

The Paris Orly to Venice VCE is much more conveninet than Ryanair's Beaucais to Treviso.

I flew MyAir from Paris to Venice....easy...cheap...had no problems. Flew out of Orly & into Venice. I wasn't charged for overweight luggage....but maybe another rep may have charged me?!!
The taxi to Orly was less expesnsive than the taxi from Charles de Gaulle...another bonus.
Yes...I'd fly MyAir again!

PREM'S (discount) tickets booked online at sncf.com for the Venice-Paris night train can be as low as E35 for a bunk in a six-person couchette and E60 for a bunk in a four-person couchette. The same discount fares are available online at trenitalia.com under the Smart Price category. The key to getting these fares is to book as soon as they become available (up to 90 days in advance).

Adding to my previous post. Why take the night train if you can get a cheap plane ticket? Save the cost of a night in a hotel, have more daylight hours for sightseeing, and contribute a little less to global warming.

Yes, those are real fares. You should run the booking process further, however, if you want to know the full price. For example, I booked on MyAir in October from Venice to Paris, Orly, for €9.99. After they added a hefty fuel surcharge, departure tax, and probably somthing for the pilot's retirement fund, the total was around $50. Still a real bargain, IMO.
