It's highly unlikely that you had high tea in London. What you had was probably afternoon tea.

marking - looks like a nice report with good pix! I love Hampton Coourt and feel it is one of the most unheralded places in the greater London area. Much much more enjoyable than the mob scene at the Tower of London IME and Windsor Castle!

Yes, years ago a visit to Hampton Court which is a good destination out of London. Did you see the gardens?

Ozarksbill, we did see the gardens but only briefly. It was a little chilly and the gardens were just starting to bloom.
