Traveling to Marseille with baby
My husband and I will be traveling to Marseille with our 1 year old in 2 weeks. We booked her in her own seat for the flights, so will be bringing her carseat. We will be traveling from Paris to Marseille via train. I am wondering how much of a pain it is going to be to travel with the car seat on the train. Also, does anyone have recommendations on a crib for my baby? I am considering just bringing her pack n play, but I know lugging that around will probably be an added hassle. We are renting an apartment while there. I think that is all. Any advice would be appreciated!

I would first check whether or not the apartment provides a crib, often called a cot, which is the English-English term.
Lugging a car seat along with the rest of your gear won't be fun but if you give yourself enough time you can get it all on the train. Some Paris train stations have trolleys/carts and some have porters but it's not consistent and you can't count on either.

I wouldn't take the pack'n'play, better bring a backpack carrier for the baby so you can walk around and up and down the stairs in Paris. You could have the baby sleep with you if you don't have the cot in the apartment. We also never brought a car seat for the airflight. Our son did not like being strapped in on a flight, he would rather sleep horizontally with his head on one parent's lap and his feet either on the other parent's lap.
