Travel from Madrid to Paris by way of the Riviera
Stating to plan a trip for next April.
Which way is easier to get from Madrid to the French Riviera, rail or plane? To what city?
And which from the French Riviera to Paris?
Thanks!
Keith

The French Riviera is a long stretch of land. What do you want to do there? April is a bit early for the beach. For an illustrated introduction to trains see http://tinyurl.com/eym5b.

The city depends where you want to go. I would think it would be easiest to fly from Madrid to Nice, if you want to be over in that area. Or possibly Marseille. The train would take longer but at least not as bad as previously now that there is a high-speed from Madrid to Barcelona. You'd still have to transfer 2-3 times, I'm sure.
