Trains to and from Granada
I read on the travel forums that the trains to and from Granada aren't running as usual because of the work on the AVE line.
We're going to be in Andalucia in October 2015 and want to travel between Cordoba and Granada and then to take the train from Granada to Seville (after our visit of course).
Does anybody have any up-to-date information or can point me to sites that might have? I know some Spanish so I can also check out Spanish sites. The RENFE site isn't very helpful at the moment. (Maybe it's too early.)
Thanks.

Common sense says it´s better to travel from Cordoba to Sevilla via AVE 45 minutes and them Sevilla to Granada by bus because trains to Granada are under works and it takes more of 3 hours to travel to Granada and anyway you have to take a bus from Antequera.

The improvements were forecast months ago, if I recall correctly, for completion in October - no one will know for sure without reference to RENFE or the infrastructure engineers.
As you will know the journeys will be part bus, part train and at the moment you are too early for seeing and purchasing beyond 2nd October.

All train journeys entering Granada are by bus, i.e. you will take the train and change a bus for the last leg.
If you think the flight Barcelona to Granada is cheaper than the present 'train/bus' journey fair enough, I have made no comparison, but bear in mind the 'train/bus' journey is centre to centre.
