train or plane? HELP!
Hi eveyone! I hope someone can help me. I am traveling to Europe and have to be in several different places but dont know what is the best way to connect these places, if by train or plane...
Frankfurt
Goslar
Berlin
Barcelona
Madrid
Frankfurt
I dont know if it is worth to get Eurail pass for these few places. I am going kind of for bussiness so the less travel time the better.( I will do the scenic when i can come for vacation)
If some suggest flying do you know any good European flight deals? i was looking and i saw that there is a big Frankfurt terminal FRA and then another one HHN i think with cheaper flights inside Europe. I could not figure out how far appart they were, because I wil have to come back to US from the FRA airport so i wonder if i could fly to the HHN from Madrid and later go to the FRA airport.
Where can i get more info about the trains ?
Any help would be SO greatly apreciated!!! THANKS!

If yes, then train within Germany. With just two main trips, a railpass won't make sense. Just buy single tickets.
From Berin to Barcelona, several budget airlines fly those routes. You can check whichbudget.com to see the listings. I found at least three - Air Berlin, easyjet and clickair - that goes from their Berlin Tegel or Schonefeld to BCN.
From Barcelona to Madrid, again fly. 4 airlines run about 40 flights each day between those cities.
From Madrid, take Air Berlin or TUI to FRA. Don't go to Hahn (HHN), which is 70 miles west of Frankfurt and used mainly by Ryanair only. No reason to go there.

Europe By Air is not an airline. It sells a "air pass" to be used on various budget or regular airlines. Before you buy from them, please read very carefully what the restrictions and extra fees/taxes are.
If possible, I'd just buy direct from one of the budget airlines.

About that, is the train terminal in Frankfurt far from the airport? What kind of timing should I consider to connect my flight which arrives at 6 am and the train to Goslar? would two hours be enough? is it far?

There are two train stations at the Frankfurt airport (FRA). One is the S-bahn station for central Frankfurt and surrounding areas.
The other is a long distance train station to everywhere else.
To search for trains directly from FRA (both long and short distance), use "Frankfurt Flughafen" as the origin when using www.bahn.de. Takes about 4 hours to Goslar with various connections. Some using the long-distance ICE trains directly from airport, some using the S-bahn or regional train to Frankfurt first.
