TRAIN OR BUS FROM PRAGUE TO VIENNA?
Which is a better option -the train or bus from Prague to Vienna in terms of speed and price. Also is it more reasonable to buy on-line or at the station?

Bus might be cheaper, but personally I'd take the train (did take the train ten years ago) because I dislike long bus rides and love trains. The only way I'd take a bus is if it were very significantly cheaper or much faster.

I wouldn't slum it in a downmarket long-distance bus.
Modern Railjet trains - blue Czech Railways ones and red Austrian Railways ones, it's a joint service - link Prague Hlavni with Vienna Hbf every couple of hours in 4h10.
Fares start at just €19 if you pre-book at www.cd.cz/eshop or www.oebb.at
The Railjets have economy, first and business class and a proper restaurant - a sit-down waiter-served meal on the move is a real treat!
