An offpeak return is about 24 pounds. I imagine Sunday would be similar. It is MUCH more if you leave on a weekday during the rush hour.

The ticket is £14.80 return, travelling from Paddington station.
www.thetrainline.com can help you with times.

Nigel or S. Fowler - we would like to attend an event at Alexandra Palace in North London on a Sunday (May 14) - do you think ok to drive in instead of taking train fr. Oxford? - we will be in Cotswolds. Although Canadians, we are fairly experienced UK drivers - although have never 'done' London. Thanks for your help.

My bad - $24 USD translated wrongly in my febble brain to pounds. 14.80 pounds it is. [which is approx $24USD] And I just took the train to Oxford last week.
I've never driven in England... let alone London ... so would Nigel or someone else handle that one?
