We have an apartment in Dubrovnik and have been to Split on a number of times looking for furniture and furnishings for our apartment. If you are driving around or looking on the web, the Croatian word for furniture is “Namjestaj”. Due to the lack of good web sites (and probably very few English language sites) it’s been challenging to find these shops. We created this list during our last trip there in January 2012 and hope you find it useful.

City Center 1. East of Split - New shopping center past the end of Vuikovarska, Near Lovrinac (the cemetery)
- Muller. For household items
- My House De Tempore - WMF stainless, fine china such as Villeroy and Boch etc
- Mostly Fashion

Domanutjac: address: Put Vrbov nika bb -Look for TTTS Industrial area in the South East of Split
-Good for mid range to lower priced furniture for apartments

Dugopolje: Large new commercial area about 10km North East of Split – worth a trip
- Lesnina - household goods and furniture
- Marko doo – some higher quaility furniture
- Metro - (need to get an account before you shop) sells everything appliances household food etc

Emmezeta Kastela
- Large Furniture, household, electrical, appliances, garden, toys, clothing plus a small mall

Joker: Downtown Split – near Stadion
Not much outside but 5 floors, of a fairly upscale mall inside - good quality goods
- Meblo furniture
- Good children and baby clothes stores in the mall
- Ira Commerce – large selection of beautiful artificial flowers and some fresh
- McDonalds
- Cinema

Mercator.
- Small fashion mall and large grocery plus large electrical and hardware store
