to get from Heathrow airport to Great Portland Street station
Hello
I need information of how to get
from the airport to Great Portland Street station and the cost of the ticket
from Great Portland Street station to Lyceum Theatre (Wellington Street) and th e cost of the ticket
I am thinking of buying the Oyster card for 7 days - I will be staying in the Great Portland area. I understand that there are two types of Oyster card - which should I buy?
Thank you

As the Lyceum is showing The Lion King I would suspect that "I" is actually "we". If so can you give details of your group.
Getting from LHR to GPS then the simplest is to take the Tube to Hammersmith, exit the station and cross to the adjacent Hammersmith & City Line station and take the Tube to GPS from there.
For GPS to the theatre the simplest would be the 88 or 453 bus To Trafalgar Square then walk from there

yes -- you really need to give us more details. The Tube is the cheapest by far. But, especially if you have much luggage or are a party of 2 or more, you might want to consider a pre-booked car service like justairports.com
Depends a bit on your budget - but a car service is door-to-door w/ no luggage schlepping.

Bear in mind that the Hammersmith H&C line station is entirely separate and a few minutes' walk from the Piccadilly Line station - you'll need to go up and through the shopping centre and across the main road to get to it, though it's not hard to find. If you're a family group, a car service might be better, though more expensive.
