This question is for the birds!

White – Hardey
Dark Blue – Cedric
Light Blue – Gwylum
Dark Green – Munin II
Red – Hugine
Orange – Odin
Light Green – Thor

Found it at www.armouries.org.uk/tower/education/pdf/ animalhuntteacht-ed4.pdf
(ignore space) Had to download in Adobe Acrobat. The site doesn't address the reason for the names, though.

Beth, glad I could finally help someone! I'd love some photos, but for some reason my computer (Mac) won't open e-mail attached photos. I don't know if it's my e-mail program or the computer, but I suspect the latter: tries to use MacLink and then says "Application not found" or some such. I'm going to have to talk to my computer guru one of these days.

Sue, have you got photoshop or similar? You could try copying the file to your desktop, opening up photoshop and going to "file - open". It might work better than just doubleclicking on the icon.

Dave and Kate, thanks for the suggestions. What a simple idea (that I should have thought of). I have never installed photoshop here at home because I only needed it at work, but now that I am retired (my brain, too, obviously), I guess it's time to put that stuff on my computer. Thanks again for the kick in the behind.

I thought one was named Heckle, and the other Jeckle. Shows you what I know.
