Tarbet scotland
Robbed in Tarbet. .. my son is biking in Scotland... He was in tarbet and someone within 2 minutes stole his bike bags while he walked in a hotel. The bags contained all of his camping equipment... memory cards... Internet connections... Phone and computer Chargers... ETC. Locals from the area say this is very very unusual. He is having trouble finding Chargers that will work for his equipment. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thank you

There's a great deal of missing information here that would help in answering your question, but absolutely in the spirit of helping I will say, regarding the electronics, would he consider doing without? It is completely possible to travel without phone and computer, to ask people for information and to phone ahead from hostels & guesthouses for him (if he now won't be camping) to make onward reservations. He'll have a different trip and possibly even an improved experience, if going back in time might be considered an improvement.
The alternative, if he's unable to consider the above, is to have you buy and overnight the items he "requires".

I know he was 40 miles from Glascow when he was robbed. I guess I just thought Tarbet was the name of the town...? He is back in Glascow now, figured he would have more options on finding replacements. his chargers etc are important because he is a writer, and is working while he travels.
