Suggestions for a Hotel in Lucca, Italy for lateish July?
We plan to stay in Lucca on the nights of July 20 and 21. Any suggestions for a nice hotel within the city walls?

We stayed last year at the San Luca Palace and enjoyed it very much. Oh, and their A/C works great, which is important for that time of year.

It's outide the walls but Villa Romantica's rooms are large (bit like an English country house) and it has the huge benefit of gardens with a pool. Very welcoming in 40oC.

It is a good walk from the centre but we didn't find this a problem with a 4 year old.

We find noise late at night whilst staying inside the walls can be annoying.
