Red October provides customized itineraries with a driver, guide and van. The prices are reasonable thought I can't say exactly how much as I was there in 05. They have a website too. Our guide was for two days and covered everything we asked to see in the order we wanted to see it. They also had lunch places set up for us.

“We had a wonderful ladies tour in St Petersburg while our husbands were at a business conference. The ladies program was designed for us by Tania, a native Petersburgian who did a wonderfully professional and warm job planning this tours. She was our guide for six days. Not only did we visit the highlights - the Hermitage, Catherine Palace, Peterhof , Russian Museum etc - but she took us to the secret Wine cellars, performances of a wonderful male choir, art galleries off the beaten path, one of the most historical ballet schools in the world, the apartment of her friends where we had a wonderful Russian dinner. All of this was accompanied by her personality and winning sense of humor. We felt like we were being shown the city by a long-lost friend rather than a tour guide we just met. We like her!!! www.tour-stpetersburg.com
