Sorrento - visit to La Sorgente
Does anyone know anything about visits to La Sorgente - a working farm outside of Sorrento where you can have lunch and a tour - including watching cheese be made?

If you're staying at a hotel in the area, I'd inquire with the hotel. There are many mentions of this farm on websites advertising area tours if you want to go that route. It seems to be located near Santa Maria del Castello which is closer to (north of) Positano.

We spent several hours at La Sorgente Farm this past November. It was a wonderful experience. And yes, you can watch as they make their wonderful mozzarella cheese. The food was terrific, good Italian country cooking, and the limoncello was the best I've ever tasted. I bought several bottles, now sadly all empty. I took a bunch of photos if anyone wants to see the place.

deacondana, I would be interested in seeing some of your pictures of La Sorgente Farm. I see you spend several hours, so you did not spend the night? Did you have lunch there? my email address is [email protected] if you could send me some pictures and any other info you may add.
