Rubles & A River...Yes, We are in Russia

Not strictly from Sevilla, but from nearby Cadiz area, buy Sherry. One of the world's great drinks and very underated and good value.
The classic purchase might be "Tio Pepe", though you may prefer the slighly lighter Manzanilla, "La Gitana" - both very dry. If sweet drinks are your thing, you can do no wrong with the awesome "Noe" or "Apostoles".
i love pottery from any place - but i agree with the above post that you must buy sherry when in spain!!!
designer fans (hand-held) are regional throughout Espana -- easy to carry (unlike sherry)
For want to buy,
I purchase ceramics and tiles in Seville. You might want to look at the following in the Triana district, across the Guadalquivir:
"Cermica Santa Ana"
(San Jorge 31-Plaza del Callao), Sells replicas of 16th c designs.
"Cermicas Roco"
(Antillano 8)
"Santa Isabel"
(Alfarera 12- the potters' st.)
"Cermica Isabel Ruiz"-hunting motifs
(San Jorge 27)
Or these 2 shops on pedestrian Sierpes, downtown, which are much more tourist-oriented.
"Sevillarte" for flowery, pastel, feminine designs
(Sierpes 66)
"Martian"
(Sierpes 74)
Also on Sierpes, "Casa Rubio" sells typical ladies' fans and "Maquedano", those famous Cordoban hats. And gorgeous but expensvie silk shawls/mantillas at "Foronda".
And besides sherry from Jerez or manzanilla from Sanlucar, which are available most everywhere, there are terrific olive oils that you can buy in nice gift bottles/boxes. Try
"La Tienda del Aceite"
(Calle Garca de Vinuesa 31)
The "Club del Gourmet" in all the El Corte Ingles stores, including the one in Sevilla, sells specialty food products from Andalucia.
If you are into fragrances, there's the
jasmine scented "Agua de Sevilla", or these 3: "Carmen", "Abril", or "Victorio y Lucchino" by Victorio y Lucchino, the Seville fashion designers-buy at any perfumera.
Happy shopping!
