RUSSIAN CHOCOLATES WITH VODKA FILLING...
Has anyone seem those?is there and specific place where i can buy them?, they are like the ones you buy in Reims-France.
Chocolate filled with champagne.
But I though Russia may have them with Vodka. They are great as souvenirs...

I can see chocolate go with many things, but with Vodka? Just the thought of it makes my palate feel like it's undergoing a strange chemical reaction.
Get a good piece of chocolate in your mouth, then take a swig of Vodka. If you can come up smiling, keep researching. If not, give up.
I've just come back from St. Petersburg and I didn't see that - but I'm not a souvenir hound so maybe I missed it (if it does exist?).

I agree... chocolates filled with brandy or Cognac would be a better alternative, although not as reminiscent of a trip to Russia. Remember, don't save them too long since the liquid will evaporate. Been there, done that!

Marti, where do you live? Are there russian stores?
In San Francisco they have those sold individually and in boxes, not sure though if made in russia or poland or baltic republics.
You can also find them in stores like Trader Joe, Cost Plus.

FaniaAgain, I'm from Seattle,yes there
is a trader joes and a Cost plus.
But I'm plannig to buy them in my trip
and bring them to people in my office as souvenirs..I tried them once and "YES" there're very good!

Marti1, Something to think about :
When I was in Budapest, I came across loads of Neideregger Marzipan in all sorts of forms and product flavours. I was gob-smacked at the choice.
Knowing my sister to be a marzipan nut, I stocked up on quite a bit of it and lugged the heavy stuff home for her as a gift. When I presented her with it, she very much appreciated it all, but then added..."are you sure you didn't buy this stuff from Zoltan's ?(our neighborhood Eastern European store)"... because they have all the exact stuff I had bought her for sale throughout the year, and she had been buying it from them for years.
For all my trouble, I might have done just that.

on the mezzanine level of the Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg, Dominiques sells chocolates and the fillings if i recall included vodka with banana for example, not sure if this would interest you but they were delicious.
