Rome to Venice via Val d'Orcia , Tuscany in 1 day
I am visiting Italy this August and want to visit Val d'Orcia. Heard, it is very pretty!
I will be in Rome for 3 days and then heading on to Venice for another 2 days.
When I travel from Rome to Venice , I was thinking of traveling through Val d'Orcia(in 1 day).Unfortunately, don't have more time. .
I wanted to know, if there are any tours companies which do this.I couldn't find any online.
Public transit options, if any?
I would prefer not to drive, but if that is the only option,I am open to that.
I would appreciate your suggestions on this.

Driving would be your only option really unless you decide to devote a bit more time to it. For public transport, you would need to take a train from Rome to Chiusi and catch a bus there on to Montepulciano or Pienza. Then on to Siena where you would need to change to a bus to Florence. From that point you could get the train to Venice.
There are companies that run tours from Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, but you would need to be in one of those cities early as they would depart early.
FWIW, a one day car rental can be as expensive as a 3 day. If you want to see the bus routes, click on mappa extraurbano Siena on the right and it will download. The routes through Val d'Orcia are mostly lower right (find Chiusi, Chianciano, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena).
