rentals in London
Has anyone had a good experience with rental agents in London?. The company my husband will be working with wants to send us to serviced apartments. I want a regular apartment 2 or 3 stops away from central London. Any help would be appreciated. Rental to start mid sept. to end of october, dates flexible

What is the budget?
Oakwood has serviced apartments that should fit your needs - see Oakwood.com. The company has a small pile of properties throughout London and its business model is predicated on renting upscale flats for 30+ days for people on business assignments. We stayed in one in Japan and the place was spotless.

Check out the various Cheval House Residences. Very nice especially if you are on a company expense account.

If your husbands company is paying for/compensating you for the accomodation then I don't think they will want you to bok anything that isn't with an actual letting agency. We found that our travel insurance didn't cover us if we booked any accom through owners direct, or small agencies that represented owners, so that is something you need to check out.
We are here in London having rented an apartment through Oakwood.com (our second rental through them - first in San Diego- without problem).
We also checked out FraserSuites, CrownLawn, SilverDoor, RefreshApts. We chose Oakwood for price, quality and previous good experience.
Can I ask why you want a "regular apartment" rather than a serviced apartment? You are only here for 6 weeks or so. There are no extras to pay with the serviced apt, cleaning is done once per week, full linen changes included so your stay is less 'work'. Just a thought
