Reasonably priced hotel in Seville
Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced hotel in Seville or an apartment? My partner and I will be there for four days in June so want good air conditioning and a comfortable bed and to be not too far from the centre. Hotels are booking up there very quickly and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed trawling through Booking.com!

Ok, here's a pre-rant suggestion: USE THE PRICE SLIDERS ON BOOKING TO NARROW DOWN YOUR CHOICES.
As for your question in general:
Jayzeezus tapdancing Christopher - what are you asking for?
Speak in dollars and cents or Euros and cents. Reasonable to a US teacher making 50k and reasonable to a US construction engineer making 110k+ are entirely different.

We have always loved Plaza de Armas. It's a little walk from the centre but has a great roof top pool, good buffet breakfast and good standard rooms.
It's a business hotel and so the weekend rates are usually give away prices. We normally pay e80 for a double room. The

Thanks very much BritishCaicos. I was hoping for something more Spanish but will keep this in mind. Looking for a hotel that is around 100 euros a night. Found this one Hotel Párraga Siete. Just wondering if the location is good? We would like to be close to the centre of the city but perhaps for our price range this is a good compromise.

Sorry getting confused between hotels in Granada and Seville. Have found this one in Seville: Patio de la Alameda that is around 100 euros a night. Wondering whether it is a good location? As I said previously we would like to be close to the centre but perhaps for our price range this is a good compromise. If anyone has enjoyed staying in a hotel in this price range in Santa Cruz and felt the hotel was good please let me know.

We will be staying at Apartamentos Suites Santa Cruz in Seville in September. Depending on the night, price ranges from 129 euros to 165 euros. Sunday night and Monday night are the least expensive.

Stayed in Patio de la Alameda a few months ago. Perfect location right on bustling and local atmosphere Alameda de Hércules, and only some 15 mins walk to the touristy Santa Cruz district with all the most usual attractions, the cathedral, Real Alcázar etc. Excellent tapas bars, restaurants and cafés in the area, a favourite part of town for the sevillanos themselves. This was once the first cublic park/garden in Europe from the late 16th century. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WJkTCpbp8w
The past seven years in Sevilla we've always stayed up here in the Alameda/Macarena district, and Patio de la Alameda was perfectly fine, but perhaps a little unconventional, all the rooms are centered around an inner patio/courtyard, and I guess noise might be an issue on less quieter nights than ours. We've used to stay in Vime Corregidor close by, and we would perhaps go back here next time: https://www.booking.com/hotel/es/h10...dor.en-gb.html

Thanks very much Kimhe. I think we will go with the Patio option. Its good to know its a good area. The other hotel you suggest looks great. I would have taken that up but they only seem to have very small rooms left available. I appreciate your advice.

And here are a few tapas bar/restaurant tips close to your hotel.
Bar Sacramento in wonderful local atmosphere Calle Feria 200 meters from Patio de la Alameda is meat heaven: https://www.tripadvisor.es/Restauran...Andalucia.html
Casa Paco is perhaps the best no fuss place in all of the long Alameda itself. Have had great late night meals here: http://sevilla.salir.com/casa_paco_alameda
And Eslava is one of the best and most popular places in town: http://azahar-sevilla.com/sevilletapas/2008/02/eslava/
And you would also be quite close to El Rinconcillo from 1670, the oldest tapas bar in Spain:
