Priceline.com or any other last minute Net" deal????
HAS ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH PRICELINE.COM OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR SITES OR A LAST MINUTE TRAVEL PURCHASE. MIGHT HAVE 10 DAYS LATE IN APRIL AND MIGHT TRY A LAST MINUTE DEAL OR AUCTION TO EUROPE OR WHATEVER SOUNDS INTERESTING AT THAT TIME.

I just had my first transaction with Priceline.com. We could not find tickets for the destination and price we wanted. We went to Priceline.com, submitted our price and within an hour we had a ticket! It left us wondering whether we should have bid lower. But we got our tickets for $150.00 cheaper than anywhere else. Do read the fine print. You will notice that it says as soon as it finds a ticket for your bid price, it will automatically charge your credit card. They will not contact you to tell you. It is an automatic charge. I suggest you start bidding really low and go up from there. Hope this helps!

Its very important when you buy a bulk ticket like that, you are sure of your itinerary because there are no refunds. Priceline tickets have many restrictions so be sure you do read all the fine print before you purchase. I work for an airline and have had many disappointed passengers with these tickets thinking if they miss their flight they can just get on the next one, and that is not the case. Be sure to show up to the airport early and take no chances of missing that flight!

I have posted this testimonial before, but don't mind repeating it. I have used Priceline.com in three separate ocassions; two for last minute plane tickets and once for a hotel. Within an hour I had exactly what I had specified at a price I was OK with. Totally opposite experience with bestfares.com; the worse I have ever come across in the Internet travel market.
