Paris to Florence

What is the best/cheapest way to get from Paris to Florence? I've looked into trains, which would be great to see the country-side but I think it's too expensive & will take too long. Am I best off taking a flight via Easyjet or Ryanair??? Thanks!

simply compare the travel time and cost of the train (which you have done) to the cost and time of the 2 airlines you mentioned. Then decide.

There is an overnight train which will be the quickest: you can spend a day in Paris, then a day in Firenze. Any flight will take half a day of your time when you add up the time to get to and from the airports and the check-in times.

You can also take EasyJet from Paris Orly airport to Pisa airport, and then take a bus or train to Florence.

Hi AS,

Train schedules, prices and tickets are at www.voyages-sncf.com and www.trenitalia.com

Airlines are at www.whichbudget.com. Also look for flights to Pisa PSA as well as Florence FLR.

You can also fly into Venice from Paris Orly on www.myair.com and train to Florence.
