Paris 2 bedroom/2bathroom apartment you would recommend?

We would love to find a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom (or at least 2 toilet!) apartment in Saint Germain or Marais in mid-October. We'd like to keep the price to not more than $325 per night. Also, we're in our (late) 60's and don't relish climbing 4 or 5 flights of stairs. Any recommendations?

Some friends of mine rented this one a few years ago and liked it.

Five of us stayed in www.vrbo.com/90955; 2 bedrooms, "kind of" 2 bathrooms (read description on the site), and I recommend it. Not fancy, but had everything one needs, only one flight of stairs, quiet location yet in midst of activity in St-Germain.

I meant to add - that flat looks great but is well over genoise's budget

Thank you both--

Betty1--sadly that apartment is booked for our dates.

Grandmere--we checked into the apartment you mentioned a few days ago because it looked perfect, but it's $431 per night--more than we wanted to pay.

i'm sorry that I didn't check the price before I posted. I stayed there in 2011, and I don't think it was that expensive then. I hope you find something that you like within your budget. Have you tried other vrbo properties?

Not exactly St Germaine but nicely located on the left bank and within your budget - we are booked for next month into www.paris7thrental.com will report back afterward. (note of caution, the website seems to take a moment to load but be patient)
