Nikki,

Great photos. Even on the overcast days the clouds addedsome 'mood' to the shots. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments.

Yes, I did see Sheila, who showed us all around the Aberdeen area, including highland games, as you'll see in the next installment.

Nikki, fantastic photos! What made me laugh out loud is that we took the exact same photo in Glen Coe - in fact, I've included mine in calendars I made at lulu.com... I held it up to compare, and the only difference is I didn't crop out the little house on the right (which you have in your next pic), and you have a little more mist on the center mountain. Here's the pic:

Green Dragon, I guess that mist must hang over the mountains like that a lot.

Caroline, those pictures of Edinburgh Castle were taken from the window of our apartment at Harbour Apartments.

Fabulous photos! I loved the one of Glencoe with the light rays coming through the clouds; it captured the essence of the area. Looking forward to the trip report.

Thanks so much for posting those Nikki. They are fantastic. There must be something about Scotland that brings out the best in photographers because I really think the photos I took there are the best travel photos I ever took anywhere. Loved your Glen Coe photos.
