Nessebar and Varna for a full day each - what to see?
We will be in Nessebar and Varna in September for a full day in each. We can hire a guide to get around so no worries about transportation, if needed. Since we have never been to Bulgaria we would like to take a tour each city with a guide, see the major sites and hear the history. What would you suggest we see? I haven't purchased a book but I have looked on line and it appears I need advice.

Here is what has been recommended in Varna anyway:
Suggested Varna Itinerary:
Starting at a time convenient to you;
Drive to a rock monastery, set in a nature park outside Varna - visit;
Drive from the monastery to a Bulgarian seaside resort, having a look at a traditional Bulgarian Black sea resort; drive back to Varna;
Arrive to the Varna Archaeological Museum - visit;
Drive to Varna Cathedral church – visit;
Drive to a Cape across Varna, overlooking the town, offering a great panorama of the whole city, industrial areas and also its resort areas;
Back to Varna for a visit to the Roman Baths; Take a look at the best craft’s shop in town offering selection of custom made souvenirs of Bulgarian local artists; Shopping time; In this craft’s center for your purchases, you can pay both in US dollars or in Euros. Also debit or credit card payments are accepted.
Walk to a traditional Varna Restaurant; LUNCH;
