Need help to book a flight from Munich
Hello all,
Next July my husband and I (plus a cat) are moving overseas (we presently live in Brazil) to Tenerife.
For personal reasons our first leg has to be Brazil > Germany (Munich, via Lufthansa) and we are having problems trying to book online our second leg from Munich to Tenerife because of the cat.
We definitely need help from a Munich travel agent. There are no representatives of Air Berlin or Condor in Brazil we can contact. The local Lufthansa does not book flights with them.
If this does not go against any rules of the Forum could someone please indicate a reliable travel agency in Munich we could contact? We would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.
Maura

Assuming that you cat has all the necessary paperwork and shots done for being taken into the EU, it looks as if you simply book your cat as an "extra" when booking the flight from Munich to Tenerife.

For Condor you should find some infos here, and the contact to reservations. Handling this by e-mail should be less costly than a call to reservations.

Thank you Cowboy1968 for you answer. The cat does have all papers and vaccines in order including an EU passport.
I don’t feel much comfortable booking my cat as an “extra”. I also would like to be able to confirm some details before pressing a button.
Maybe I am old-fashioned but I really would like to have some “human” support for booking this leg of our trip thus my request for a contact of a travel agent/agency.
Thanks again for your message.

You can book tickets and ask your questions by phone with Airberlin.

You can get English-speaking agents. But expect the usual wait until you get through to a "human" ;-)
I would not know how a travel agency could help you any better than the reservations and booking hotline of the airline.
There are lots of pensioners living on the Canaries, so taking pets back and forth is nothing unusual.
