My husband and I are flying through London next month and need a reasonably priced hotel near Terminal Four in Heathrow.
Most of the places I see don't have free (or cheap) transportation from the airport, which results in a huge cost for taxis to the location.
We don't need anything special, just something convenient and reasonably priced (i.e. around or below £60 per night).
Any suggestions?

Good Afternoon Gabi,
My name is TJ and I am a manager at Jurys Inn Heathrow, we are a 3* hotel situated approximately 5 minutes from Heathrow Terminal 4 and there are several ways that you can travel between our hotel and Terminal 4 for a reasonable cost and even for free.
We are on the National Express Hotel Hoppa routes, and this provides a service every 24 minutes to Terminal 4 right from our front door. This is charged at £4 per person each way.
We have fixed prices with our taxi company and a standard saloon would cost £8 and could be booked with our reception.
The hotel is situated a five minute walk from the Piccadilly Line station, Hatton Cross. The tube can be used for one stop to Terminal 4 and costs approximately £3 per person. Hatton Cross also does have a bus station and the London local buses (482 and 490 from Stand E) can be used to travel around the airport perimeter free of charge, it is only two stops to the terminal from here.
If I can help with checking rates for the night you wish to stay or need any further information do not hesitate to contact me on tj@jurysinns.com or (+44)0208 266 4647, alternatively our website address is www.jurysinns.com.
Enjoy the upcoming weekend,
TJ
There is some helpful information here, which applies to other hotels besides Jurys. Please don't remove the post because it is considered advertising.
Don't know if it falls in your price bracket, but there is a Hilton connected to Terminal 4 by a walkway....
Try one of one of the discount sites, like hotwire, priceline, booking.com, you should be able get a deal that way.
We stayed at a Jury's near Heathrow for about L45. Booked it online not through Priceline or equivalent. The Hotel Hoppa shuttle circulates to a number of hotels near Heathrow. IIRC it's L7 for a round-trip ticket, L4 one-way.
