Trip Report Montmartre without tourists

Jump to last reply

I have read so many complaints about how Montmartre is overloaded with tourists and has become an unbearable place for a lot of people to visit due to "bracelet guys," pickpockets and crowds pushing and shoving.

It really takes only a small effort to have Montmartre all to yourself -- just get up very early and enjoy it. Here is the video I made at 6am: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEG5RGeYEK0

And here is the full report about having Montmartre all to oneself. The first part dates from October 2011 but the second part dates from this morning: http://anyportinastorm.proboards.com/thread/5444/montmartre-sunday-morning
