Lodging Recommendations

Hi,
My wife and I are off to Northern Spain in September. We would love to learn your recommendations for small hotels/casa rurals and B&B type of lodgings. We would like to keep our nightly expenses to no more than 70 euros.

Do you have any recommenations for LaGuardia, Mundaka, Potes, Posada de Valdeon, Carmona, Pesquera del Ebro, Haro, and Santanilla?

Thank you.

Jeff

Hello, jeffjoyce - - you are hardly that new here - - so, I shall give you the good old fashioned finger-wagging, and insist, that you re-post this as &quot;Lodging recommendations <i>for our September trip to <b>Northern Spain</b></i>&quot; - - or perhaps even better, mention the specific names of the towns of interest.

Best wishes,

Rex

Since rex has already wagged his finger at you, you might want to check out the following web pages for Casa Rurals in the areas mentioned. All but a few are within your price range.

http://en.toprural.com/index.cfm
http://www.nekatur.net/ (click on accommodations)

If you have any problems booking, you may want to contact Totally Spain to see if they can help in making the arrangements.

Ouch! After I treat my wounds I will behave. Just one question, exactly what is the protocol I have violated? I am really in the dark.

Well, I thought I had indicated fairly clearly - - but here's how Fodors says it... (my own emphasis added)...

excerpted from http://www.fodors.com/forums/faqs.cfm#Q6

&quot; Finally, create a title - make sure it is concise and clearly describes your message (<b>and destination</b>, if applicable) ...

See also...

By the way, I don't think finger-wagging results in &quot;wounds&quot; - - but anyway, the goal is your being able to get the answers you seek... and everybody feeling like you can make some sense out of the message headers in the lefthand column.

While your header isn't as bad as some (&quot;Help!&quot - - it's still tantamount to a library placing volumes on its shelves with titles like &quot;Biography&quot;, &quot;Fiction&quot;, etc... printed on their spines.
