Is this a good airfare deal to Italy?

Leave Boston September 19 to Venice, return from Naples to Boston September 30 for $657 with Virgin Atlantic. Should I go ahead and book it or wait and hope to find a better deal in the coming months?

Thanks.

That sounds like a great fare to me. United was quoting well over $1000 so anything substantially lower than that, IMO, is a deal! Go for it! Also, if the prices at Virgin Atlantic drop after purchase, you should be able to get the difference back in the form of credit towards a future flight, or even possibly reimbursement back to your credit card.

that is a pretty good fair, BA is running a special now and RT Boston to Rome is in that figure.

That's very decent, if it includes taxes. September fares are generally still quite a bit higher than the really cheap fares of LATE fall, winter and early spring. If it fits your plans, I think you would be wise to book it.

It's pretty good. Especially since it's open-jaw which usually costs you a bit more. I'd take it.

I just checked for a fare on the Virgin At. site and they don't offer Rome as a destination. What gives?

VS doesn't fly to Italy. I think crystalnpat is getting the fare from other sites or on the phone, and the flight is Boston to London, and then connect on another airline to Italy.
