Ice Bar-Copenhagen

My husband and I want to visit the Ice Bar in Copenhagen. I have tried e-mailing them several times with no response. Has anyone had luck contacting them?

No, I haven't tried emailing, but I did get a great video of the bar and info on Travelchannel.com. Take a look. It looks like a lot of fun. I think there is a cover charge and you get a drink or two for that. The maximum stay is 45 minutes. There are Ice Bars in several cities in Europe. Just type Absolut Ice Bar into your search engine.
Cheers!

Thanks for the info. Still no response but we are staying at the Marriott in Copenhagen and we will talk to the Concierge there.

Anitas,
Just wondering how the trip went to Copenhagen? My trip is in May of 2009 and we are planning a stay at the Copenhagen Marriott. Any suggestions you might want to offer?

Hi anitas - why do you want to contact them?
I know the Absolut Icebar in London. There is a limit on the number of people allowed in and the length of time you stay in. There are 2 vodka drinks included in your cover charge. The glasses are made of ice.

You just line up outside to get in with everyone else. Then you put on the fur capes and in you go!

They do close down for a few days every few months to "redecorate" as they change their theme.

The Copenhagen one probably works the same way.
