How to get from Positano to Nocelle
Hi everyone,
While in Italy we will be staying in Nocelle for a few days. We will be taking the train from Florence to Salerno and then a ferry from Salerno to Positano. What I am unsure of is how best to get from Positano to Nocelle where our hotel is (The Villa Degli Dei).
I know there are buses that go to and from but I am wondering if anyone can provide me with a website or a time table of the bus schedule.
Thanks in advanced.

It's less than 2Kms to Nocelle, so it is walkable, though uphill. Coming down to Positano is much easier! Here's a timetable I found, some of it is in English, some in Italian, but it's fairly easy to interpret:

Hi Bobthenavigator, yes we are sure. We have found an affordable hotel there and like that we are separate from some of the hustle and bustle of Positano but are close enough to visit it as well. We are young and fit and don't mind the trek, I would just like to find a bus for our arrival when we have luggage so its a bit easier.
I have researched the location a lot and heard lots of good things about Nocelle.

Hi
You could take a taxi from Salerno straight to the hotel for €46 - http://www.taxiautofare.com/it/taxi-...no-to-Positano. Comparing it to your itinerary it's probably only €20 more.
Why bother!!

The local Positano buses make this run. The company is Flavio Gioia, but for some reason their site isn't working. This is not the summer schedule. It's for March - June 12, but you can assume a bit more frequency in higher season (you didn't say when you were going). If you are on Facebook, that seems to be more up-to-date than their website (Flavio Gioia Sas Autolinee-Autonoleggio-Autolavaggio
Transportation).

Here's a map of the stops (numbered) and the list of them.

This is the other bus that goes to Praiano.

I don't know if this is an up-to-date summer schedule (it doesn't list the year).

The bus company now operates under the name Amalfi Coast Mobility. You can find them on Facebook.
