how much time to allow to get out of Orly airport & into Gare Est

We are scheduled to arrive at Orly airport at 9.00am. We wish to buy train tickets for our onward journey which departs from Gare Est.
How long should we allow to clear Customs & Immigration, collect luggage, find a taxi, travel to Gare Est, & find our platform.
A train departs at 10.33am, another at 11.24am.
Please advise.

No one can tell you how long it takes (exactly) on a certain day ( flight on time? busy passport control? wait for luggage ? Traffic?)

Even the second train might be tight.

While it may take less time, you need to allow up to an hour to clear immigration/passport control and claim your luggage. If traffic conditions are good, the taxi ride should take around 45 minutes; but you may have to stand in line at a taxi rank for a bit.

If all goes like clockwork, you should be able to catch the 11:24 train. If there are any delays, you'll miss it.
