Not a chance that babelfish will get this right.

The term is scompenso cardiaco or cardiacocirculatorio.

See Glossario on www.cuore.net

eccessiva, stress psicologici, aritmie, tromboembolia polmonare, infezioni cardiache).

As this final sentence explains, your condition can be acute or chronic. If it's acute you wouldn't be traveling at all. Thus you might use the term scompress cardiaco cronico - - or simply scompenso cronico.

Tannks you have been very helpful

I don't understand all that much Italian. "Parlo solo un poco' but it will be enough to get me through.

As you sumised my condition is not acute, but at my age one hates to take a chance of being found on the sidewalk and be treated for the wrong condition or given the wrong medicine, so I always carry a "medicial alert card"

Thanks again for your help

John

I looked up the words congestive heart failure but found just heart- cuore and failure-fallimento maybe this will help.
