Yes, I do want to do something cool in LOndon. Where should we go? For real
I'm traveling with my 3 daughters. So we'd either need a suite or 2 joining rooms. I like 4 or 5 star hotel. I've never been there so I don't where to tell you which district I want to be in. I was hoping to get some opinions.
thanks!!!

Without a budget (actual $/£ amount per night) we really can't help you. Honest. An star level isn't helpful either really. Stars only tell you which amenities they have - not the quality of the Property.

For real -- there are scores (probably hundreds) of cool things to see/do in London. Sooooo What sorts of things do you consider 'cool'.
It is like pulling teeth trying to get any info out of you to help us help you . . .

Be sure to get yourself a guide book so you know what interests your group. This will be more of a help than posting general questions as we don't know you and what you consider 'cool'.
Also do a search using the search function for London and read the hundreds of posts on itineraries.
Once you have a general plan we can help you but your request right now is too general to add any valuable ideas.
As for hotels - look at a tube map and find a hotel in zone 1 in the yellow circle line, near a tube station.
London is huge so there is no one best spot.
This question had been asked tonnes of time so you can search London hotels in the search function as well and get instant responses...
Also give us a budget in £ specifically so we can help.

I'm only staying for 3 days so the price doesn't really matter all that much. (but under $500 if possible)
I have 3 girls ages:7, 14, 16 They like to shop
While researching hotels...there are so many districts and not knowing which is which...it's hard to figure out.
For instance...do i want to be
opposite: Green Park/Chelsea Harbour
Near: Buckingham Palace/Regent Street/St. James Park
Inside: Syron Park
On: Old Park Lane
Close toondon Eye/Tate Britain
Just off: Berkely Square
thanks!

That's interesting about the comment that the stars don't mean that much. That's all i've been looking at. I've only looked at 4 or 5 stars. Thinking 3 stars and bellow wouldn't be worth it.

$500 sounds like a lot, but it won't get you two rooms or a suite in very many upscale hotels. That is less than £150 per room per night. That isn't a lot even at some 3 star properties. (5 stars does tell you they offer more amenities than a 3 star, but says not much about things like location and such.)
Some of the locations you list are semi daft, and others are just fine.

Maybe start with getting a map of London? These are miles apart, and you don't want to be in Chelsea Harbour.
For you two elder girls - see if you can make an appointment for a personal shopper at Topshop Oxford Circus. They will love that, and it doesn't cost anything (apart from what they buy, obviously).
Hotel; Meridien Piccadilly is good, and has an indoor pool too which kids like. And has large 'American style' rooms with two large beds that possibly take 4 people, check with them.
Otherwise a flat is a good idea; get one with two bathrooms. Try www.onefinestay.com for places in South Kensington, Notting Hill, for example. Make sure you're near an underground station, and anywhere within the Circle Line is best - look at a map.
This one is very close to Notting Hill Gate tube;
