Hotel Gallini in Venice?

Anybody have first-hand experience with the Hotel Gallini in Venice (it's in "Cheap Sleeps")? Any comments, positive or negative?

I found this link. I'll email this post also. I am also looking for a nice, old world style hotel - "budget" but with good location and a view. Here is a good link with the Hotel Gallini mentioned (scroll down). I am going to contact a few hotels too. I have the Hotel Gambero reserved but they require a one night deposit be sent first. I don't know if it it's worth it. Email me if you get any good info from this site. We are going to be in Venice the 9-11 of July.

http://www.guestinitaly.com/hvenice.htm
Was just there. Nice hotel very friendly and clean.

Believe me you can take Margo"s reccomendations as gospel. She is right on when it comes to describing hotels. [And I am not even related to her] I used her book exclusively on my recent trip and was never disappointed

Have fun John
