has anyone tried lastminute.com?

Does anyone have feedback on this website? They seem to have the cheapest rate for a apt/hotel in London that we are considering, but I've never heard of the site or used it before.

I've used them to book London hotel rooms with no problem.

They are very big in the UK and everyone uses them for quick breaks to the continent. A friend of mine hires cars through them. I personally think there are cheaper sites for hotels, like this one.

They have been around for years. If the deal you found makes you happy, then go for it. They are a publicly owned corporation. They are listed on the London Stock Exchange. They have about 10M subscribers. I could go on and on but basically the point is that it's a safe, international travel corporation.

Hey! I used them to book my Florence hotel, and I'm there now! I booked it in Rome the day before I left. I'm really pleased, because I'm staying at the Hotel Pierre at a reduced rate, and of all the places that came up from which I could choose, you get to see a map of the area. I thought this one was the best location, so I booked it. I'd recommend this to anybody, and it's good feedback, I think to hear that folks in the UK routinely use the site.
