Getting from Mallorca to Barcelona

My husband and I will be in Mallorca during late August and we are looking to visit Barcelona while we are there, should we book a flight now, or wait until we get there? Do you recommend a ferry or a plain?

You may end up paying more if you book the flight now but you run the risk of getting no flight in August if you don't. August is peak travel time in Spain and Malloca will be crowded. As for the ferry, unless you are on a budget or have a lot of time, I would fly. The ferry ride is very long!

I´ve just booked for the ferry and it is going to be 3 hours to Barcelons, I had no choice because I take a car, but I would consider it, there is a new ferry that it's a lot faster that what it used to be. Try looking gor the ferry information at internet.

I would fly. The ferries will be crowded, they take a long time - yuck. We did that in August and I wouldn't do it again.

I would fly, but make reservations in advance or you will HAVE to take the ferry.
