It is less than 40 miles but will take you at least an hour.Enjoy the views!
I can recommend a B&B in Lisdoonvarna (5 miles from Doolin)if you want-my brother brings his family there every year

CB,
It depends on the time of year. At the moment there are long delays into and out of Galway due to roadworks and the weather is brutal making driving times twice as long, take your time,

Cathy

Hi CB:

I just got back from Ireland and did that trip in reverse! The road out of Galway is as good as a road that you will get in Ireland. It is when you get on the n-57 to Kinvarra that the road drops down to driveway size and starts to twist and turn. The coast road was spectacular and the Burren is "out of this world". I say a good hour should do it....but you will stop and pull over manyu times to take pictures of the scenery and the rainbows!!
I had a great B&B in Liscannor called Moher Lodge Farmhouse (about 2km from the Cliffs. Price was 40pd per couple/ full Breakfast
JOHN
JOHN
