Film and books - Greece

My family is so excited to be traveling to Greece in late May.
Planning the travel is a stressful pastime. What novels should we read or movies should we rent that would carry our enthusiasm through the planning phase. For example, before we visited Rome we watched Roman Holiday and Gidget Goes to Rome! We saw those sites on film and couldn't wait to see them "in person!"

If you plan to go to Santorini you might enjoy 'Summer Lovers' and 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.'

Shirley Valentine is fun. It's probably not all what Mykonos is like (I'm sure it's not, actually) but it's a fun movie.

And of course, Zorba the Greek is a classic. (It is set on Crete, IIRC.)

A couple more films: Shirley Valentine (Mykonos), and Captain Corelli's Mandolin (Kefalonia).
