Eurail Timetable and Reservation Questions

Hello,

I just purchased a 3 Country Select Pass and would like some guidance on getting around most efficiently. My itinerary is below and would like to know what trains I should get on and when/how I need to make reservations.

London to Brussels (Eurostar)
Brussels to Amsterdam
Amsterdamn to Berlin
Berlin to Paris (this is the longest route, is there is a direct train or reservations I should make?)
Paris to London (Eurostar)

Thanks, I look forward to your response.

As for reservations, unless you are taking an overnight train with a sleeping berth I don't believe any of the trains on those routes (ex Eurostar) require any seat reservation.

You can hop on any train that departs when you want.

Brussels - Amsterdam. Hourly, direct trains all day departing at ##:22 from Brussels central. 38 Euros. 2-3hr ride.

Amsterdam - Berlin. Direct trains every 2 hrs at even ##:58, just over 6hr ride. Discount fares for 49 Euros

Berlin - Paris. The only direct train is a 16:40 departure, overnight, arriving Paris 10:30am. Fares from 43 Euros. Many other options with 1 or 2 connections will get you there in 8 or 9 hrs.

You should have received two booklets with your EurailPass. One is a Travelers Guide and the other is a Timetable. All of your questions are answered in those booklets.

Eurail is not a rail line - just a company that sells tickets at higher prices. You need to check the schedules of each train line (I use bahn.de since it is the most complete) and buy reservations on the spot when necessary.

Don;t know how a pass works with the Eurostar London-Paris and vice versa - but I would get reservations for that as soon as possible.
