Edinburgh Accommodation

Hi Everyone,
We are a family of 4 adults and 2 children visiting Edinburgh in May 1st week. Needed some help with accommodation options. We want to stay in an apartment.

Please suggest some good options for catering apartments. Also, do we need to stick to apartments in and around Royal Mile OR should we look at options further away?

Thanks.

We rented an apartment from this site and loved it. It was only a one bedroom but there are larger. We stayed close to the royal mile and that is wonderful to be able to walk to everything.

We rented from Fiona and she was the best. Our apartment was the very central city one but this is another of hers and much larger. This place was better than home. Everything you would need.

We have just confirmed this apartment www.citycentrelet.net for Hogmanay and Pat has been delightful to work with. Reviews are good as well.

This agency probably has more than most

Obviously there are other choices. I would aim to be no further out than the Meadows, Holyrood Park, London Road, Queen Street and Queensferry road. There are lots of lovely and interesting places to stay outside that, so don't rule out Stockbridge, Leith or Bruntsfield; or indeed one of the coastal towns along the Forth.

hi naddy,

I used this site to find an apartment a couple years ago. I found the map method to view locations as very useful: http://www.aboutscotland.com/edin/map/rentals.html

I stayed a week at 25 Waverley Park, but it's smaller than you need.
