Easiest place to drop off rental car in Rome?

Easiest place to drop off rental car in Rome?
We will be driving in from Orvieto on a Monday morning and staying in the Vactican area. Which rental car location would be the easiest/quickest? I was considering one of the airports, but is there a more convenient location that we should consider?

The airport is certainly an option

There is a Hertz office in via Gregorio VII, fairly near the Vatican.

I would drop in Orvieto--it is not easy to drive into Rome and find a location.

I have dropped a car off near the Vatican, if you have a good navigator and steady nerves you should be fine, try to avoid rush hour.

Some rental company have offices in the central train station, the "Termini". We found it very easy to pick up and drop cars there.
