Eagles Nest MiniVan Tour...what company?

Reading threads about the best tour to take is the small 7-8 minivan tour but the company referred to: http://www.eagles-nest-tours.com/page3.htm, states their capacity is 25. Is there another company I'm missing? Thanks.

When we took this tour a couple of years ago we were, in fact, in a mini bus that only held 8 passengers. The co-owner was the driver and guide and, believe me, it was absolutely outstanding. The guide was thorough and totally knowledgeable and I would recoemmend this tour to anyone who really wants to see, and hear about, the entire complex.

Cannot explain the capacity of 25 bit but don;t let yourself get hung up on that..reserve it and I think you won't have any regrets whatsoever.

It's been four or five years, so I'm not sure if my information is still current. There were a lot of companies that did a tour bus thing -- larger busses. But there was only one company that did a small mini bus and it left from the tourist office on the edge of town, which is also where we went to book it. The guides were a husband and wife team -- American (or at least one was) and they were the ONLY authorized guides who actually spoke about the Nazi connections. In addition to going up to the Eagle's Nest, we also toured a bunker and got a full history of the Hitler connection. Officially the German tourist board pretends that Eagle's Nest is nothing but a wonderful mountain to enjoy and see great views from.

Hello Cheryl, we did the Eagles Nest tour in the minivan from the tourist office as previously posted. It was sensational and I was originally only going "along for the ride" because my husband is very keen of the whole WWII thing! Not to be missed. We were accompanied by a group of about 5 Americans whom my husband avoided looking at for the first half hour because his front tooth had broken off whilst eating a bread roll on the train the day before!!

Sorry, posted prematurely then....
It was one of the highlights of our European trip and I would highly recommend it - Berchtesgarten itself was beautiful but our time there was cut short by searching for, and eventually finding, an excellent dentist!!
