Decided on Duke's Hotel

Well I've totally exhausted every hotel website for London and every hotel review site. Didn't get much response from my posting here for feedback on the Chesterfield Mayfair, Cadogan or Sloan Square Hotel. I finally decided on Duke's Hotel. It seems like a small, traditionally British hotel on a quiet street. Even then I read some unfavorable reviews - but it looks pretty good to me. I continue to be amazed that people can have such radically different opinions on any given hotel However, if anyone has stayed at Duke's Hotel lately I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks.

I didn't stay there but did stay at the Stafford around the corner & went into Duke's. If I hadn't started renting flats, Duke's would have been my next choice to try.

Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

I've stayed at the Dukes Hotel a few times. but, not since it was renovated. If I hadn't started renting flats, I would still be staying there on my trips to London.

Thank you for the replies Carrybean and SusieQQ. I'll go ahead and count that as 2 thumbs up. I leave for London one week from today so I'll check back in when I return and give you my review.
