Day Trips From Paris with Kids

Jump to last reply

I'll be in Paris for two weeks in July with my husband and two girls, ages six and eight. This will be their second time to Paris (we were there for Christmas) and I was hoping we could take a day trip or two outside of the city limits.

They're good travelers, so small towns, castles, champagne tastings (I'm only half kidding here...) would be great. I've visited Versailles many years ago in the winter and was thinking of going back to see the gardens.

We would need to travel by train since a car rental is not really something we're considering.

One day at Disney might be an option - I'm not a huge fan of Disney in general, but for them it would probably be pretty exciting. Anyone been?

There's so much to do and see in Paris so I'm just thinking of one or two days. Any advice much appreciated!

Thank you.
