day tour in A,malfi

Our cruise stops in amalfi for a day and we are considering a tour with Giovanni Maresca (Johnny's tour Service)? Does anyone know anything about his service or tour? Thanks. Suzanne

Hi Suzanne - Are you sure your cruise stops in Amalfi? Most stop in Naples ...

Hi K,

I am not familiar with JJohnny's tour Service.

However, both Limousine Service Sorrento (Renato Cuomo) www.cuomonet.it and Francesco. http://www.francescomarrapese.com/
operate limo services that have gotten good reviews here.

You could compare their rates.

Hi - I haven't used Johnny yet, but I booked him on the recommendations of another travel site. We're going in September - he's picking us up at the train station and dropping us off at our hotel in Sorrento and then the following day we are doing the Amalfi Coast tour with him. He's been very quick to reply to emails and I am happy with my choice. I don't think that you have anything to worry about. I was confident booking with him, especially since I had quite a few people recommend him.

We used Tour of Italy when we were there last month. Excellent service!

We did a walking tour out of our Fodors guidebook while we were there. It took us around to all the sites, and we really felt like we saw the city. I dont know if you are hoping to see more of the coast - but the bus service provides a good value.
You could probably make a nice tour of your own walking around Amalfi and taking the bus up to Ravello.

Thanks to all for your responses. We're looking forwardto our day in the
Amalfi area. Have been there before and with the tour we don't have worry about ferry and bus schedules. I've learned that if you share the tour expenses with several others, it is often the best way to get the most use of your limited time in an area and is not terribly expensive.
